The COO will be responsible for managing the Group Operations, with particular focus on production and planning across various plants globally. He/she will be responsible to set the operations strategy, strengthen and harmonize the controls systems, increase the Group’s digitization, define and monitor the appropriate KPIs, and ultimately support revenue growth and maximize efficiency.
Main responsibilities:
• Analyze the operating processes and identify improvement opportunities to maximize productivity, quality, and cash generation
• Propose and manage the opex and capex budget
• Develop and implement robust strategies and action plans to achieve short and long term targets
• Monitor operating performance and take corrective measures whenever necessary
• Prepare detailed updates and forecasts and timely report to the Group leadership team
• Identify and proactively manage operating risks
• Build and manage teams, attracting and developing talents and fostering a performance-driven and meritocratic culture
• Support the Group CEO and leadership team in analyzing all strategic options for the Group, including M&A
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering, Business or other quantitative fields
• Fluency in English and Italian, knowledge of a third language is a plus
• Solid track record in operations management for manufacturing businesses
• Robust international experience and proven ability to manage multi-country teams
• Previous experience in working for a PE-backed company or similar fast-paced organizations
• Ability to understand and manage operational levers to drive economic and financial performance
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills

• Leadership, standing and emotional intelligence in line with the seniority of the position
