The COO will be responsible for managing the Operations: Production, Assembly, Logistics and Supply Chain, Quality and Maintenance. He/she will set the best strategies and actions to develop and drive best-in-class operations, offering the highest possible quality at the lowest cost and optimizing NWC.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Analyse all operating processes, and identify efficiency/productivity, quality/service and operating cash generation improvement opportunities
- Propose and manage the opex and capex budget
- Manage relations with key suppliers of products and services
- Develop and implement robust strategies and plans to achieve short and long term targets
- Monitor operating performance and take corrective measures whenever necessary
- Prepare detailed updates and forecasts and timely report on the company’s operations
Experience and qualifications:
- Proven experience and responsibility in operations management in the industrial (preferably machinery) industry
- Good knowledge of lean production methods and work safety matters
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent design, planning and project management skills
- Fluency in English
- Degree in Engineering, Business or other quantitative fields
- Previous experience in working with a PE-backed company or a company where production operations are a key driver of economic and financial performance is a strong plus
- Master (in particular MBA) and/or professional certifications are a plus
